39 Israeli Billionaires Included in Forbes 2025 Ranking

A record 39 Israelis have been named to Forbes magazine’s annual World’s Billionaires list, released this week, marking the highest number of Israeli entries since the ranking began.


Leading the Israeli contingent is shipping magnate Eyal Ofer, who retained his position as the wealthiest Israeli with an estimated net worth of $28.2 billion. He ranks 68th globally. Ofer, who is registered as a resident of Monaco, is followed by his brother, Idan Ofer, with a fortune of $22.5 billion, placing him 89th worldwide. Idan is listed as a British national

The global list features 3,028 billionaires in total—a new record—up from 2,781 last year. Their combined net worth stands at $16.1 trillion, also a record high.


Other Israelis on the list include oligarch Moshe Kantor, with an estimated $9.5 billion, ranked 293rd; Australian-Israeli businessman Frank Lowy, with $7.9 billion; and the Wertheimer family, known for their historic ties to Israeli industry, with $7.6 billion.


Tech entrepreneur Teddy Sagi is listed with $7.1 billion, followed by Check Point Software founder Gil Shwed at $6.4 billion. Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan and businesswoman Shari Arison also feature prominently, with $6.3 billion and $6 billion, respectively.


The list includes a growing number of Israeli tech founders, notably the four co-founders of cloud security company Wiz—Yinon Costica, Ami Luttwak, Roy Reznik and CEO Assaf Rappaport—who each hold a net worth of $2.2 billion following the company's sale to Google.


Other prominent names include Michael Federmann ($5 billion), Yitzhak Tshuva ($4.9 billion), Canadian-Israeli philanthropist Sylvan Adams ($2.8 billion) and David Wertheim ($2.6 billion). Shmuel Harlap and Shlomo Kramer share a ranking with $2.4 billion each.


Women on the Israeli list include Liora Ofer ($2.1 billion), Drorit Wertheim ($1.5 billion) and Dana Azrieli ($1.6 billion). Additional billionaires include Nir Zuk, Dan Gertler, Mory Elkin, Ziv Avraham, Roy Mann, Shalom McKenzie and Marius Nacht—all with fortunes ranging from $1.4 billion to $1.6 billion.


The list also includes hoteliers David Fattal ($1.3 billion), tech investor Alexander Mamut ($1.3 billion), and real estate developers Yigal Dimri and Arkady Volozh, both with $1.2 billion. Entrepreneur Morris Kahn rounds out the Israeli list with $1.1 billion.

 

Globally, Elon Musk reclaimed the top spot as the world’s richest person with an estimated $342 billion, followed by Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg ($216 billion), Amazon’s Jeff Bezos ($215 billion), Oracle’s Larry Ellison ($192 billion) and LVMH’s Bernard Arnault ($178 billion).


The United States leads with 902 billionaires, followed by China and India. Among the notable American entries are former President Donald Trump, whose estimated wealth has doubled to $5.1 billion, and philanthropist Miriam Adelson, ranked 56th with $32.1 billion.

Forbes based its rankings on stock prices and exchange rates as of March 7.
