Very smooth check in despite the fact we had no reservation. The renting fee includes full coverage (insurance) so you don’t need to worry. No hidden additional cost in the quotation. We could also return the car at a different location, at no extra cost. Car was very good and quite new. Definitely recommend!!

- Quick and friendly service to collect the car. Handily the car pick up and drop off is just outside the terminal so no waiting for a transfer to collect your car. Slightly expensive but seemed about average for car hire from the airport. No issues throughout the hire and straight forward return, no issues and invoice received soon after returning the car with no nasty surprise charges. Would happily use again. Recommend booking on the Israeli website as the price was cheaper compared to booking via Hertz international or price comparison sites.

Worst service ever!!! Had a reservation to pick up a car. Car was not ready. Had to wait almost an hour. Finally got the car. Received an e-mail two days later stating I had not signed and returned the appropriate paperwork, so I would be fined on a daily basis. I had e-mail verification that I signed and returned the paperwork. I tried calling the number provided but was put on hold for more than 30 minutes and then disconnected. I wound up having to drive to a Hertz office and straighten out the problem. The problem was, in fact, that the clerk at the airport did not save the documents to my account. In the end, it took half a day to straighten out this fiasco. No one took responsibility.

Ma récente location de voiture avec Hertz a été décevante. On m'a forcé à souscrire à une assurance même si j'étais déjà couvert par ma carte Premier. De plus, j'ai été doublement facturé sans explication. Le service client n'a pas résolu ces problèmes.

We picked up a car in Jerusalem. The car was not really clean from the inside but it drove perfectly and cheap on gas.
We handed the car in on Tel Aviv airport (be aware that Hertz car return is near/in Terminal 3 and not at the normal car return (default orange signs)) and that was all ok. We received photo’s after return by mail.
