Our restaurant is located in the highest town in Israel, the village of Majdal Shams in the northern Golan Heights in a pastoral area at the foot of Mount Hermon.

- This evening, 17/7/23,I had a lovely meal and some drinks at the Green Apple bar and restaurant. Very happily served by a young lady behind the bar, who I engaged in conversation with,about how to serve a perfectly poured Guinness. The two that I had were great, by the way. Also, some delicious houmous and pitta bread, followed by a nicely cooked entrecote steak, which came with some baked tomatoes and three lovely potatoes,and a chimichurri sauce. For my dessert, I chose a pistachio Brulee, which,again, was marvellous.

A nice coffee and a few glasses of Baileys to finish. Lovely, friendly service from Ameera(?),who made time to chat with me,and this was much appreciated. All in all, a great place,with nice food,a good selection of drinks,but,most importantly, a great level of friendly service, that I've found very typical here in Majdal Shams. Definitely happy to recommend the Green Apple,if you're visiting the area.
